Byway 136 Heritage Highway Association is hosting its annual Trail of Treasures Sept. 30th, Oct 1st and 2nd. It’s basically miles and miles of flea markets, garage sales, and shops opening their doors and setting up tables of goods for the weekend!

Hello, Friends! It’s been a while. While I have been plugging away at the shop, here is a peek into the transformation of the upstairs apartment. It’s a long-term project but a fun one. Who knows, maybe one day it will be available on Airbnb; but for now, it is a work in progress.
When I bought the building, it was full of milling equipment and junk. I believe the Brownville Mills closed sometime around 2011 or 2012. It looks like they just used it for storage and left everything there when I bought it. It’s definitely looking brighter 🙂

Bring your friends and come on down to Brownville on Saturday, December 7th for Brownville’s Christmas celebration and the grand opening of the Lone Tree Saloon Home Décor and Gift Shop. There will be a variety of home decor items, vases, soaps, candles, quilts and more.
While in Brownville, there are also other holiday festivities going on that weekend including the Village Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol, the Concert Hall’s Christmas Gala and the Historical Society’s annual soup supper and bake sale.
