Welcome to the Lone Tree Saloon website. It’s official now. I’m obsessed with this cool building and will be renovating it in the near future. I have always loved old buildings and houses and this particular building was just calling my name to bring it to life. My own family (great-great grandfather & his brother) signed their land claims under the homestead act just across the street from this saloon and I would like to think that they stopped in at the Lone Tree Saloon for a cold one while in Brownville. Other than enthusiasm, I don’t have any experience renovating old buildings so feel free to send me ideas/suggestions/tips! I am so looking forward to sharing this experience with you all!
